Julie Meyer is a director of talent management with West Monroe Partners, responsible for best in-class employee experience strategies and programs that support the fast-growing and highly selective consultancy known for its unique blend of exceptional business consulting and technology skills. She has more than 20 years of experience as a human resource and recruiting executive for leading organizations in the professional services, media, and insurance industries.
As director of talent management, Julie Meyer plays an integral role in developing and maintaining West Monroe’s unique, participatory culture. She is responsible for driving strategic initiatives and programs in the areas of employee experience & engagement, performance management, career equity, talent intelligence and total rewards. She is a member of the Compensation Committee and the Career Equity Leadership Team.
Julie previously led West Monroe’s Talent Acquisition function, which sources experienced and entry-level business consulting and technical talent for all of the firm’s offices. Julie applied extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing innovative talent acquisition strategies to refine and advance West Monroe’s capabilities for finding and attracting people who both possess essential skills and experience and provide a strong fit with the firm’s unique, people-centric culture. She guided development of the Talent Acquisition function and led a team of high-performing recruiters. During her tenure, West Monroe Partners has grown from 150 employees to over 1,000 today.
Julie joined West Monroe Partners in 2007 from the Chicago Tribune, for which she recruited top talent for several departments, including Advertising, Interactive, Marketing, Finance, and Chicagoland Publishing. Her previous experience includes regional recruiting roles with Mercer Human Resources Consulting and CNA Insurance.
Julie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication & Management from DePaul University.
