Jean Eddy is the president and CEO of American Student Assistance (ASA), where she works with the Board of Directors and the senior management team to develop and drive the overall strategic direction of the organization in fulfillment of ASA’s mission. Having served on the Board of ASA for 20 years and holding numerous positions in higher education leadership throughout her career, Jean is deeply committed to helping kids – as early as middle school – know themselves, know their options, and make informed choices about their education and career goals.
Jean has more than 25 years of experience creating and leading education organizations that promote successful operational efficiencies. She is known for building student-focused infrastructures at higher education institutions, and she is an outstanding communicator with internal and external audiences.
Jean serves on Governor Charlie Baker’s Commission on Digital Innovation and Lifelong Learning. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Roger Williams University and a master’s degree from Johnson & Wales University.
