Many small business owners and managers worry about hiring and training someone who could later join the competition, or even compete with them for their own jobs.
Here’s some simple advice: “Get over it.”
- Don’t assume that a good applicant wants more than just the job you are offering.
- If you hire people with no ambition, what kind of people will you have working for you?
- Good employees will not only help you get better, they will force you to get better.
